Mike Fowler Joins Newpoint's Sales Team
Salem, New Hampshire USA, October 30, 2000 - Newpoint Technologies, Inc.
Mike Fowler has agreed to join Newpoint Technologies, Inc., as Director of Sales for the company's western region. Newpoint is the leader in design and manufacture of software systems for satellite and terrestrial network management.
Fowler comes to Newpoint from Loral Skynet of Arlington, VA, where he was Director of International Internet Sales. Fowler's responsibilities at Loral Skynet included selling International and domestic satellite capacity on the Loral Global Alliance Fleet to Internet service providers, closing $245 million in contracted business since August 1999. He brings significant international sales experience in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin-America and North America, and a broad knowledge of the satellite telecommunications marketplace. In previous roles, as Sales Executive for Columbia Communications in Bethesda, MD, he supported Internet resellers, CLECs and LECs as well as the Teleport market. With additional experience from positions at 3M, IBM and Xerox, Mike brings to Newpoint broad sales experience which will help expand Newpoint's professional Sales Organization into a world class sales team. Mike attended Chapman College in Colorado, California, Hawaii Pacific College in Honolulu, and California Coast Pacific University, where he majored in Business.
