The hallmark of Newpoint's element-management solutions, Compass provides unique, real-time analysis of network elements, giving operators the data to make instantaneous decisions in case of failure somewhere within the system. Administrators can now respond immediately and control all aspects of large and complex communications networks.
Compass, which has evolved as the de-facto standard for the industry, is a highly flexible software package with a real data-accessing speed advantage. The Compass data server, with its special indexing algorithm can support data updates (even within very large systems) in milliseconds.
What's New in Newpoint Compass 4.0

Additionally Newpoint Compass4.0 includes the ability for it to be installed and used on the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system, comes with a built in interface to Crystal Reports, a powerful and time-tested report generator and includes several clients that have been redesigned as Java applications for greater functionality, portability, and stability.
