ScheduALL Software and Newpoint Technologies offer integrated systems for satellite and terrestrial management

ScheduALL Software and Newpoint technologies announced today that they are developing an integrated solution between the ScheduALL Broadcast Automation and Scheduling software and the Newpoint Compass Network Management system for control of transmission equipment. The marriage of these two products will allow broadcasters to fully automate the scheduling and set up of the broadcast transmission equipment. Using ScheduALL, users can schedule their assets for carrying broadcast services, and when the appropriate time comes, the Newpoint Compass software will automatically configure the equipment for the transmission. Integration of these technologies will bring together scheduling; conflict checking and resolution; capacity management; schedule execution and device control; customer booking interfaces; and back office invoicing, reporting and analysis to offer one of the industry’s most comprehensive solutions.

ScheduLINK’s Bandwidth Configuration Management features deliver the capability to schedule complex inventories resulting in improved bandwidth utilization. Multi-Parameter Conflict Checking enables organizations to avoid double bookings and technical mismatches including existing bookings, availability restrictions, equipment requirements, single and dual-path polarity conflicts, digital or analog requirements, required bandwidth capacity and in progress/proximity to start status. Extended Copy and Query features allow rapid entry of weeks or years of recurring orders with quick edit logic for one or all in the series. ScheduALL’s core functionality also offers a Financial Management suite with many features such as automated rate cards, multi-tiered cancellation, cost controls, external cost reconciliation, invoicing, detailed utilization reporting and interfaces to business accounting software packages.
