NEWPOINT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH INDORION
Newpoint and Indorion announce a partnership to address the OSS/BSS needs of Next-Generation Networks
Salem, New Hampshire, USA, April 09, 2007 – Indorion, Inc., an industry leader in network and infrastructure management catering to the telecom, cable/broadcasting, wireless, and retail/banking sectors, has announced the selection of Newpoint Technologies [a subsidiary of Integral Systems, (NASDAQ:ISYS)] as their partner in advanced service assurance, infrastructure management, and OSS (Operation and Support System)/BSS (Business Support Systems) development initiatives.
Newpoint Technologies’ core Compass platform and overall NMS (Network Management System) suite of software solutions provides a robust, scalable architecture allowing Indorion to maximize existing design strengths, while having the flexibility to extend their own and custom applications to suit market needs across numerous technologies and business verticals.

The partnership looks to leverage the existing expertise of the Newpoint Technologies development teams, which have a great deal of experience in the satellite, broadcast, and telecom EMS (Element Management System)/NMS arenas, with the in-depth knowledge of Indorion’s Convergent Group, focusing on global trends and emerging technologies. This new direction will focus on next-generation networks, IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), 4G (4th Generation) wireless services, and other AI (Artificial Intelligence)-driven consumer networks.
Newpoint also plans to leverage Indorion’s expertise in OSS/BSS application development into its core market segments to further expand the Compass product beyond core network management solutions and more into service-level management.
