OS/ICC TO FEATURE NEWPOINT TECHNOLOGIES PRODUCTS
Salem, New Hampshire USA, October 12, 1999 - Newpoint Technologies, Inc. announces the execution of an agreement establishing Newpoint as a Certified Component Provider for Exigent International, Inc. subsidiary Software Technology, Inc. (STI) and its OS/ICC (Integrated Control Center). Under the non-exclusive pact, STI will offer the system products of Newpoint Technologies as important elements in the OS/ICC, which is a total solution for satellite ground station command and control. Newpoint Technologies, Inc. has experience in delivering quality, high-end management systems, networks, relational database systems and X-Windows based software. NTI software provides features and capabilities that eliminate or greatly reduce the need for custom engineering, including a large library of built-in interfaces for satellite earth station devices from most major manufacturers. In addition, the optional Newpoint CompassT Toolkit provides the capability to write interface drivers for virtually any device.
